Stats & Training
Attack and HP carry most of Trevenant's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
This Pokémon is said to devour anyone daring to ravage the forest. To the creatures dwelling in the forest, it offers great kindness.
Through its roots, it exerts control over other trees. A deadly curse falls upon anyone cutting down trees in forests where Trevenant dwell.
Trevenant Weakness
Fire, Ice, Flying, Ghost, and Dark moves hit Trevenant for super-effective damage. The upside? Normal and Fighting-type moves can't touch it at all. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.

Trevenant Guide
In Sun & Moon, Natural Cure changes the entire equation for Trevenant. The 474 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker. Trickroom with Aguavberry is the standard set.
Natural Cure is what you want on Trevenant. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Frisk, Harvest) work on paper but Natural Cure is what makes Trevenant worth using.
At base 56 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Trevenant is leaning toward the physical side (base 110 Attack). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
In Sun & Moon, run Trickroom, Horn Leech, Leech Seed, and Shadowclaw on Trevenant. Trickroom is the most common pick at 14% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
