Stats & Training
Trumbeak's built around physical offense. Attack leads the charge, Sp. Atk pays for it. Common in the wild, worth 2 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It eats berries and stores their seeds in its beak. When it encounters enemies or prey, it fires off all the seeds in a burst.
By bending its beak, it can produce a variety of calls and brand itself a noisy nuisance for its neighbors.
Trumbeak Weakness
Trumbeak is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Ghost-type moves entirely.

Trumbeak Guide
In Sun & Moon, Trumbeak isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Toucannon to unlock its full potential. At 355 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Keen Eye is the go-to ability for Trumbeak. It prevents accuracy from being lowered. Its hidden ability Pickup can work in specific setups. Skill Link is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Sun & Moon, Trumbeak fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 40 Sp. Atk. Base 75 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's fragile, can't afford to take many hits.
Game Availability
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Trumbeak has appeared in 3 games across 4 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
