Stats & Training
Attack and HP carry most of Trevenant's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
People fear it due to a belief that it devours any who try to cut down trees in its forest, but to the Pokémon it shares its woods with, it’s kind.
Small roots that extend from the tips of this Pokémon’s feet can tie into the trees of the forest and give Trevenant control over them.
Trevenant Weakness
Fire, Ice, Flying, Ghost, and Dark moves hit Trevenant for super-effective damage. The upside? Normal and Fighting-type moves can't touch it at all. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.

How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Trevenant Best Moveset
Start with flexible EVs. Adamant nature gives Trevenant the right physical lean, Life Orb adds extra damage on every hit for a health trade, and Harvest works in the background. Poltergeist is the main damage option.

How to Get Trevenant in Legends: Z-A
Trevenant isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Phantump from X, Omega Ruby, or Sword. The evolution path from Phantump to Trevenant is covered in the steps below.
Trevenant Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Natural Cure changes the entire equation for Trevenant. The 474 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker. Poltergeist with Life Orb is the standard set.
Natural Cure is what you want on Trevenant. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Frisk, Harvest) work on paper but Natural Cure is what makes Trevenant worth using.
At base 56 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Trevenant is leaning toward the physical side (base 110 Attack). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
In Legends: Z-A, run Poltergeist, Horn Leech, Sucker Punch, and Wood Hammer on Trevenant. Poltergeist is the most common pick at 16% usage. Poltergeist provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Trevenant joined the series in X & Y and has been available in 7 titles so far. With 5 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
