Stats & Training
Glaceon's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It can control its body temperature at will. This enables it to freeze the moisture in the atmosphere, creating flurries of diamond dust.
It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles it can fire.
Glaceon Weakness
Glaceon's Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. 4 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.

The natural movepool does the job, but Curse and Detect from the egg pool give Glaceon something extra. Pair those with Blizzard and Ice Beam for STAB and coverage across 9 types for reach, and the kit fills out nicely.

Glaceon Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Glaceon has a 525 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in Scarlet & Violet for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Freezedry with Choice Specs is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Infernape (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Glaceon. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Snow Cloak increases evasion to 1.25× during hail. That's the one you want on Glaceon. Ice Body is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Scarlet & Violet, Glaceon fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Scarlet & Violet, Glaceon has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
Game Availability
Glaceon has been available in 14 games since Diamond & Pearl, though obtaining it requires an item-based evolution. This extra step makes it less common than Pokemon found through standard wild encounters.
