Stats & Training
Glaceon's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.

Glaceon Weakness
Glaceon's Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. 4 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Fighting, Rock, Steel |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Ice |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
In Black 2 & White 2, Excadrill's Earthquake hits Glaceon for 47-55%. Volcarona threatens a KO with Fire Blast (116-137%). Terrakion's Close Combat also KOs at 108-128%.

Glaceon Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Glaceon has a 525 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. It works best as a wallbreaker. Ice Beam with Chopleberry is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Infernape (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Glaceon. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Snow Cloak increases evasion to 1.25× during hail. That's the one you want on Glaceon. Ice Body is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Black 2 & White 2, Glaceon fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Black 2 & White 2, run Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Ice Shard, and Hiddenpowerfire on Glaceon. Ice Beam is the most common pick at 18% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Glaceon has been available in 14 games since Diamond & Pearl, though obtaining it requires an item-based evolution. This extra step makes it less common than Pokemon found through standard wild encounters.
