Stats & Training
Umbreon's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Special bulk with Sp. Def doing the heavy lifting. And the medium-fast 1M XP curve means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Sp. Def EVs.
When exposed to the moon’s aura, the rings on its body glow faintly and it gains a mysterious power.
When darkness falls, the rings on the body begin to glow, striking fear in the hearts of anyone nearby.
Umbreon Weakness
Fighting, Bug, and Fairy moves hit Umbreon for super-effective damage. The upside? Psychic-type moves can't touch it at all. Umbreon's overall bulk (95/110/130) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Umbreon Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Umbreon works as a wall with 525 BST behind it. B-Tier on our list: a solid option in Scarlet & Violet for the right team. Wish with Leftovers is the standard set.
Synchronize copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. That's the one you want on Umbreon. Inner Focus is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Umbreon is leaning toward the physical side (base 65 Attack). Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the wall role.
In Scarlet & Violet, run Wish, Protect, Foulplay, and Toxic on Umbreon. Wish is the most common pick at 23% usage. This set covers the wall role with a mix of damage and utility.
