Stats & Training
Pangoro's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Speed trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Moderately hard to find and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It boasts superb physical strength. Those who wish to become Pangoro’s Trainer have no choice but to converse with their fists.
From the slight twitches of its bamboo leaf, it deduces its opponent’s movements. It’s eager to tussle but kindhearted toward its companions.
Pangoro Weakness
Pangoro's Fighting/Dark typing leaves it vulnerable to Fairy, Fighting, and Flying. Fairy hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Psychic-type attacks completely. With 95 HP and balanced defenses, Pangoro can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Pangoro Guide
In Sun & Moon, Don't let Pangoro's 495 base stat total fool you. Mold Breaker is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Drain Punch with Darkiniumz is the standard set.
In Sun & Moon, Run Mold Breaker on Pangoro. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Pangoro also gets Iron Fist and Scrappy, but they don't compare.
In Sun & Moon, Pangoro fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 124 Attack. At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sun & Moon, run Drain Punch, Thunderpunch, Icepunch, and Crunch on Pangoro. Drain Punch is the most common pick at 21% usage. Crunch provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Introduced in X & Y, Pangoro has appeared in 6 games across 5 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
