Although it possesses a violent temperament, it won’t put up with bullying. It uses the leaf in its mouth to sense the movements of its enemies.
It charges ahead and bashes its opponents like a berserker, uncaring about any hits it might take. Its arms are mighty enough to snap a telephone pole.
Pangoro Weakness
Pangoro's Fighting/Dark typing leaves it vulnerable to Fairy, Fighting, and Flying. Fairy hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Psychic-type attacks completely. With 95 HP and balanced defenses, Pangoro can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

X & Y Pangoro Best Moveset
Pangoro doesn't rely on pure speed. Assault Vest gives it a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed to stay healthy, and Adamant nature still pushes offense. Knock Off and the remaining moves keep the pressure on while max HP and Attack EVs balance power and survivability.

In X & Y, Don't let Pangoro's 495 base stat total fool you. Mold Breaker is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Knock Off with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In X & Y, Run Mold Breaker on Pangoro. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Pangoro also gets Iron Fist and Scrappy, but they don't compare.
In X & Y, Pangoro fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 124 Attack. At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For X & Y, Pangoro has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
