Stats & Training
Eiscue's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Physical bulk with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the slow 1.25M XP grind means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Defense EVs.
The ice covering this Pokémon’s face has shattered, revealing a slightly worried expression that many people are enamored with.
The hair on its head connects to the surface of its brain. When this Pokémon has something on its mind, its hair chills the air around it.
Eiscue Weakness
Eiscue's Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. Not too many gaps in the chart, 4 weaknesses to account for.

Sword & Shield Evolution
Eiscue doesn't evolve, so breeding's where the action is. You'll find a massive partner pool across two egg groups, and eggs are average hatch time. It's got 6 egg moves worth looking into. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Eiscue easily with 152 breeding partners from the Ground and Water1 egg groups. Pass egg moves like Aqua Ring, Belly Drum, Double-Edge and 3 more to offspring.
Sword & Shield Eiscue Best Moveset
Eiscue doesn't rely on pure speed. Rocky Helmet gives it chip damage on every physical hit received to stay healthy, and Adamant nature still pushes offense. Ironhead and Water and Ice coverage keep the pressure on while max HP and Attack EVs balance power and survivability.

Moves
You'll want to breed for Aqua Ring and Belly Drum on Eiscue. These egg moves aren't just nice to have. Combined with STAB from Blizzard and Ice Beam, they expand what Eiscue can actually threaten in practice.

Sword & Shield Eiscue Locations
A solid number of locations for Eiscue with decent spawn rates across late-game routes. The sort toggle below swaps between best odds and earliest access, so you can approach it based on where you are in the game.
Best Locations to Catch Eiscue in Sword & Shield
Eiscue shows up in 17 walking and surfing spots from Lv. 44-65. Plenty of options, and the list is sorted so the highest-rate locations at each progression stage come first.
Eiscue Guide
In Sword & Shield, Eiscue looks average on paper at 470 BST. But Ice Face is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Ironhead with Rocky Helmet is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, watch for Cinderace (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Eiscue. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Eiscue gets Ice Face. But Ice Face is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Eiscue is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
For Sword & Shield, Eiscue has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Fire, Fighting, and Rock-type attackers hit hardest.
Game Availability
Since Sword & Shield, Eiscue has been obtainable in 2 games. A Generation 8 debut means a shorter history, but Eiscue has appeared steadily across every generation since.
