Stats & Training
Eiscue's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Physical bulk with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the slow 1.25M XP grind means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Defense EVs.
The ice that was covering this Eiscue’s face has shattered. Eiscue emits cold air from the tip of its hair to protect its head, which is sensitive to heat.
Contrary to its looks, Eiscue is a poor swimmer. It creates ice balls at the tip of its single hair to lure prey in and fish them up.
Eiscue Weakness
Eiscue's Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. Not too many gaps in the chart, 4 weaknesses to account for.

Scarlet & Violet Evolution
Eiscue doesn't evolve, so breeding's where the action is. You'll find a massive partner pool across two egg groups, and eggs are average hatch time. It's got 6 egg moves worth looking into. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Eiscue easily with 206 breeding partners from the Ground and Water1 egg groups. Pass egg moves like Aqua Ring, Belly Drum, Double-Edge and 3 more to offspring.
Scarlet & Violet Eiscue Best Moveset
Sitrus Berry and Iceface form the backbone. Eiscue invests max Attack and Speed EVs to play its physical attacker role properly, and Jolly nature pushes Speed higher. Bellydrum handles the heavy lifting on offense. Water coverage rounds it out.

Moves
You'll want to breed for Aqua Ring and Belly Drum on Eiscue. These egg moves aren't just nice to have. Combined with STAB from Blizzard and Ice Beam, they expand what Eiscue can actually threaten in practice.

Scarlet & Violet Eiscue Locations
Eiscue sits at moderate rates across 5 spots in mid-game routes. Pick one from the sorted list and commit to it. Jumping between areas wastes more time than waiting in the right location.
Best Locations to Catch Eiscue in Scarlet & Violet
Catching Eiscue takes patience. The 5 walking encounters at Lv. 20-50 all have low spawn rates, so pick one location and stay put for the best odds.
Eiscue Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Eiscue looks average on paper at 470 BST. But Ice Face is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Bellydrum with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Cinderace (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Eiscue. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Eiscue gets Ice Face. But Ice Face is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Eiscue is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
In Scarlet & Violet, run Bellydrum, Icespinner, Liquidation, and Zenheadbutt on Eiscue. Bellydrum is the most common pick at 21% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Sword & Shield, Eiscue has been obtainable in 2 games. A Generation 8 debut means a shorter history, but Eiscue has appeared steadily across every generation since.
