Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Arctozolt's spread. It leans mixed with Attack out front. And you'll get 2 Attack EVs per KO for it. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
The shaking of its freezing upper half is what generates its electricity. It has a hard time walking around.
This Pokémon lived on prehistoric seashores and was able to preserve food with the ice on its body. It went extinct because it moved so slowly.
Arctozolt Weakness
Fire, Fighting, Ground, and Rock moves hit Arctozolt for super-effective damage. Volt Absorb grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Arctozolt's coverage across 8 types all comes from technical machines, built on top of Blizzard and Thunder for same-type damage. Blizzard and Giga Impact are the payoff moves.

This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.
Arctozolt Guide
In Sword & Shield, Arctozolt looks average on paper at 505 BST. But Slush Rush is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier attacker on our tier list. Boltbeak with Heavy-Duty Boots is the standard set.
Arctozolt gets Slush Rush, Volt Absorb, and Static. But Slush Rush is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Arctozolt is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the attacker role.
In Sword & Shield, run Boltbeak, Blizzard, Substitute, and Lowkick on Arctozolt. Boltbeak is the most common pick at 25% usage. Blizzard provides reliable STAB damage.
