Regidrago Guide

  • For the Sword & Shield meta, At 580 BST, Regidrago is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a tank. Draco Meteor with Choice Specs is the standard set.

  • In Sword & Shield, watch for Lapras (Ice), Salamence (Dragon), and Sylveon (Fairy) when using Regidrago. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Regidrago has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.

  • Dragons Maw powers up Dragon-type moves. That's the one you want on Regidrago. It's the only ability Regidrago has.

  • Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Regidrago is a mixed attacker with base 100 Attack and 100 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a tank.

  • For Sword & Shield, Regidrago has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
