Ruby & Sapphire Typhlosion Best Moveset
Bulk and offense in one package. Typhlosion runs Leftovers for passive recovery each turn with a Hasty nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Flamethrower. Max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs and utility options make it hard to safely switch into.

Typhlosion Guide
In Ruby & Sapphire, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Typhlosion. The 534 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a sweeper. Flamethrower with Leftovers is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Typhlosion. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Typhlosion worth using. With base 100 Speed, Flash Fire gives Typhlosion an edge before opponents can react.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Typhlosion is a special attacker with base 109 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Ruby & Sapphire, run Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, Hiddenpowergrass, and Substitute on Typhlosion. Flamethrower is the most common pick at 14% usage. Flamethrower provides reliable STAB damage.
