Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Attack carries everything and Speed's dead weight. But this Freezing Pokemon still yields 2 Attack EVs per fight on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It swims through frigid seas, searching for prey. From its frozen breath, it forms icy fangs that are harder than steel.
It swims energetically through frigid seas. When it gets tired, it freezes the seawater with its breath so it can rest on the ice.

Beartic Guide
In Sword & Shield, Beartic looks average on paper at 505 BST. But Slush Rush is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier wallbreaker on our tier list. Aqua Jet with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Beartic's biggest threats include Volcarona (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Beartic gets Slush Rush, Snow Cloak, and Swift Swim. But Slush Rush is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Beartic is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the wallbreaker role.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Aqua Jet, Avalanche, Shadowclaw, and Brickbreak. Aqua Jet leads at 25% usage. Avalanche provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Beartic has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Beartic has appeared steadily across every generation since.
