Wishiwashi Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Wishiwashi's biggest threats include Manectric (Electric) and Breloom (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 40 Speed, Wishiwashi won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Honestly, in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Wishiwashi is a tough sell at 175 BST. Plenty of stronger Water options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Wishiwashi looks average on paper at 175 BST. But Schooling is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. D-Tier on our tier list. Protect with Leftovers is the standard set.
Wishiwashi gets Schooling. But Schooling is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Water gives Wishiwashi 4 resistances. HP is the best stat at base 45. Pure Water type with same-type attack bonus on Water moves.
