It is very intelligent and calm. Being exposed to lots of sunlight makes its movements swifter.

Black & White Snivy Best Moveset

Snivy's built to absorb hits. Careful nature leans into special wall duty, Eviolite gives it a bulk boost that only works before full evolution, and Synthesis handles sustain. Overgrow and max HP and Sp. Def EVs tie the defensive profile together.

Snivy Guide

  • Servine at level 17 is the mid-stage. Push through to Serperior at level 36 for the final form. 308 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 17 gets you Servine. Quick enough that Snivy barely slows you down.

  • In Black & White, Snivy does the job early-game if you need a Grass type on your team. Evolve it into Servine before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Snivy in Black & White. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 6 other games across the series.

Game Availability

Introduced in Black & White, Snivy has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
