Scrafty Weakness

Scrafty is weak to Fairy, Fighting, and Flying. Watch out for Fairy attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Psychic-type moves entirely. Scrafty's overall bulk (65/115/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Scrafty Guide

  • In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Scrafty looks average on paper at 488 BST. But Intimidate is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Fakeout with Iapapaberry is the standard set.

  • In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Scrafty's biggest threats include Togekiss (Fairy), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Flying), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Togekiss is the most dangerous since Fairy moves deal 4x damage.

  • Scrafty gets Intimidate, Shed Skin, and Moxie. But Intimidate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.

  • Scrafty is a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often.

  • For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Fakeout, Knock Off, Drain Punch, and Icepunch. Fakeout leads at 23% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.

Game Availability

Since Black & White, Scrafty has been obtainable in 9 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Scrafty has appeared steadily across every generation since.
