Stats & Training
Scrafty's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Balanced defenses with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the medium-fast 1M XP curve means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Defense and Sp. Def EVs.
As halfhearted as this Pokémon’s kicks may seem, they pack enough power to shatter Conkeldurr’s concrete pillars.
While mostly known for having the temperament of an aggressive ruffian, this Pokémon takes very good care of its family, friends, and territory.
Scrafty Weakness
Scrafty is weak to Fairy, Fighting, and Flying. Watch out for Fairy attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Psychic-type moves entirely. Scrafty's overall bulk (65/115/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Fairy |
| 2x (Weak) | Fighting, Flying |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Rock, Ghost |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Dark |
| 0x (Immune) | Psychic |
In Sword & Shield, Celesteela's Air Slash hits Scrafty for 63-75%. Clefable threatens a KO with Moonblast (105-124%). Cobalion deals 81-96% with Close Combat.

Scrafty Guide
In Sword & Shield, Scrafty looks average on paper at 488 BST. But Intimidate is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Fakeout with Wikiberry is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Scrafty's biggest threats include Togekiss (Fairy), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Flying), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Togekiss is the most dangerous since Fairy moves deal 4x damage.
Scrafty gets Intimidate, Shed Skin, and Moxie. But Intimidate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Scrafty is a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Fakeout, Knock Off, Close Combat, and Drain Punch. Fakeout leads at 19% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
