Lilligant Guide

  • In Sun & Moon, Don't let Lilligant's 480 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker. Sleep Powder with Focus Sash is the standard set.

  • In Sun & Moon, watch for Volcarona (Fire), Lapras (Ice), and Roserade (Poison) when using Lilligant. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Flying and Bug-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • In Sun & Moon, Run Chlorophyll on Lilligant. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Lilligant also gets Own Tempo and Leaf Guard, but they don't compare.

  • In Sun & Moon, Lilligant fills the attacker role. It's leaning toward the special side (base 110 Sp. Atk). Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • For Sun & Moon, Lilligant has answers, but so do you. Faster attackers outpace it. Anything with a super-effective STAB move and decent speed can revenge kill.

Game Availability

Lilligant first appeared in Black & White and spans 9 games across 6 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
