In Red & Blue, Lapras brings 545 BST to the table. B-Tier on our list: a solid option in Red & Blue for the right team. Thunderbolt anchors the moveset.
Lapras is a special attacker with base 95 Special. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
In Red & Blue, run Thunderbolt, Blizzard, Confuseray, and Sing on Lapras. Thunderbolt is the most common pick at 20% usage. Blizzard provides reliable STAB damage.
For Red & Blue, Lapras has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric, Grass, and Fighting-type attackers hit hardest.
