Stats & Training
Raw HP carries Kangaskhan's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Atk barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Parent Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Although it’s carrying its baby in a pouch on its belly, Kangaskhan is swift on its feet. It intimidates its opponents with quick jabs.
There are records of a lost human child being raised by a childless Kangaskhan.
Kangaskhan Weakness
Kangaskhan's Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. With 105 HP and balanced defenses, Kangaskhan can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Kangaskhan Guide
For Sword & Shield, we rate Kangaskhan C-Tier: a niche pick in Sword & Shield's meta. At 490 BST, the stats are spread pretty evenly. Fakeout with Silkscarf is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Sword & Shield, but Kangaskhan does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Kangaskhan hits 590 BST.
In Sword & Shield, watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Kangaskhan. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Early Bird makes sleep pass twice as quickly. That's the one you want on Kangaskhan. Inner Focus is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Scrappy works too if your team needs something different.
Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Kangaskhan is a physical attacker with base 95 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
