Stats & Training
Druddigon's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Speed trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It races through narrow caves, using its sharp claws to catch prey. The skin on its face is harder than a rock.
It warms its body by absorbing sunlight with its wings. When its body temperature falls, it can no longer move.

Druddigon Guide
In X & Y, Don't let Druddigon's 485 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Stealth Rock with Rocky Helmet is the standard set.
In X & Y, Run Sheer Force on Druddigon. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Druddigon also gets Rough Skin and Mold Breaker, but they don't compare.
In X & Y, Druddigon fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. Base 48 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In X & Y, run Stealth Rock, Ironhead, Glare, and Earthquake on Druddigon. Stealth Rock is the most common pick at 15% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Druddigon has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
