Stats & Training
Abra's all-in on Sp. Atk at the expense of Defense. The special lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 1 Sp. Atk EV and follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
This Pokémon uses its psychic powers while it sleeps. The contents of Abra’s dreams affect the powers that the Pokémon wields.
Abra can teleport in its sleep. Apparently the more deeply Abra sleeps, the farther its teleportations go.
Abra Weakness
Abra's Psychic typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Abra's special bulk (base 55 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Sword & Shield Evolution
Abra is the start of a three-stage chain. It evolves into Kadabra first, then eventually reaches Alakazam. For breeding, average hatch time with plenty of partners via one egg group. The evolved forms gain up to 190 total stats over Abra. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Abra easily with 52 breeding partners from the Humanshape egg group. Pass egg moves like Confusion, Guard Split, Magic Coat to offspring.
Sword & Shield Abra Best Moveset
One guaranteed turn is all Abra needs. Focus Sash buys it, spread EVs make it count, and Magic Guard adds something extra. The goal: deal early damage and deal damage with Psychic. The remaining moves gives it play beyond just the lead turn.

Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Abra won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 10 types means it always has an effective option. Psychic and Psyshock anchor the STAB core.
