How to Get Scorbunny in Sword & Shield

Scorbunny is not available as a wild encounter in this game.

This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.

Scorbunny Guide

  • Raboot at level 16 is the mid-stage. Push through to Cinderace at level 35 for the final form. 310 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 16 gets you Raboot. Quick enough that Scorbunny barely slows you down.

  • In Sword & Shield, Scorbunny does the job early-game if you need a Fire type on your team. Evolve it into Raboot before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Scorbunny in Sword & Shield. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 1 other game across the series.

Game Availability

Introduced in Sword & Shield, Scorbunny has appeared in 2 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
