Moves List

Leveling does the heavy lifting. Weepinbell picks up Sludge Wave and Power Whip along the way, building toward a complete offensive set. TMs add Bug and Dark coverage, but the foundation's already strong by then.

Weepinbell Legends: Z-A Guide

  • Weepinbell is meant to evolve into Victreebel. At 390 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.

  • In Legends: Z-A, Weepinbell's biggest threats include Charizard (Fire), Cloyster (Ice), and Dodrio (Flying), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Psychic-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Chlorophyll is what you want on Weepinbell. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Gluttony) work on paper but Chlorophyll is what makes Weepinbell worth using.

  • At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Weepinbell is a mixed attacker with base 90 Attack and 85 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Fragile, can't afford to take many hits.

  • For Legends: Z-A, you can run Weepinbell through the first few routes without issues. 390 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Victreebel as fast as you can.

Game Availability

One of the original 151, Weepinbell has appeared in 20 games — most mainline games. From Red & Blue through the latest titles, it's rarely been left out of a regional Pokedex.
