Quaxwell Scarlet & Violet Guide
Quaxwell is meant to evolve into Quaquaval. At 410 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Torrent strengthens water moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. That's the one you want on Quaxwell. Moxie is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Quaxwell is a physical attacker with base 85 Attack. Best used as a support.
For Scarlet & Violet, you can run Quaxwell through the first few routes without issues. 410 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Quaquaval as fast as you can.
