Base Stats
Floragato deftly wields the vine hidden beneath its long fur, slamming the hard flower bud against its opponents.
The hardness of Floragato’s fur depends on the Pokémon’s mood. When Floragato is prepared to battle, its fur becomes pointed and needle sharp.
Floragato Scarlet & Violet Guide
Floragato is meant to evolve into Meowscarada. At 410 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Protean is what you want on Floragato. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Overgrow) work on paper but Protean is what makes Floragato worth using.
In Scarlet & Violet, Floragato's hidden ability is Protean. Changes the bearer's type to match each move it uses. Better than the standard options for competitive play.
Base 83 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Floragato is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack.
