Defense and Sp. Def carry most of Yamask's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 1 Defense EV. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life.

Type-wise, Yamask takes extra damage from Ghost and Dark. Normal and Fighting moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity.
