Stats & Training
Spinda's stats barely vary. None sit in respectable range with no real gaps. It's a blank slate for EV investment. Worth 1 Sp. Atk EV, fast 800K XP curve to max.
No two Spinda have the same pattern of spots. Its tottering step fouls the aim of foes.

Spinda Weakness
Spinda's Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. Only 1 weakness makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fighting |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
In Black 2 & White 2, Conkeldurr can KO Spinda with Drain Punch (134-157%).

Black 2 & White 2 Spinda Best Moveset
Owntempo isn't flashy, but it matters. Combined with Toxic Orb for self-poison for Guts or Poison Heal activation and max HP and Attack EVs, Spinda fills the physical attacker slot reliably. Adamant nature finishes the spread.

Moves
Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Spinda won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 10 types means it always has an effective option. Last Resort and Double-Edge anchor the STAB core.

How to Get Spinda in Black 2 & White 2
Spinda Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Machamp (Fighting) when using Spinda. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
In Black 2 & White 2, Spinda has niche appeal at best. 360 base stats means you're fighting uphill by mid-game. There are better Normal Pokemon available.
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Spinda's 360 base stat total fool you. Contrary is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it D-Tier. Sucker Punch with Toxic Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Contrary on Spinda. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Spinda also gets Own Tempo and Tangled Feet, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Normal typing gives Spinda 1 resistances plus Ghost immunity. HP at base 60 is the top stat. Pure Normal type with same-type attack bonus on Normal moves.
