Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Mudbray's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 1 Attack EV per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Loads weighing up to 50 times as much as its own body weight pose no issue for this Pokémon. It’s skilled at making use of mud.
It eats dirt to create mud and smears this mud all over its feet, giving them the grip needed to walk on rough terrain without slipping.
Mudbray Weakness
Water, Grass, and Ice moves hit Mudbray for super-effective damage. The upside? Electric-type moves can't touch it at all. Not too many gaps in the chart, 3 weaknesses to account for.

Mudbray Guide
At 385 BST, Mudbray is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Mudsdale before bringing it to any serious fight.
Own Tempo prevents confusion. That's the one you want on Mudbray. Inner Focus is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Stamina works too if your team needs something different.
Mudbray is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Speed tells the real story. Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the attacker role.
In Sword & Shield, For a casual playthrough, Mudbray works as a placeholder. Ground coverage is useful early. The real payoff is Mudsdale. That's where the stats start mattering.
