Stats & Training
Marill's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Attack trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 2 HP EVs, on a fast 800K XP curve.
The fur on its body naturally repels water. It can stay dry even when it plays in the water.
The oil-filled tail functions as a buoy, so it’s fine even in rivers with strong currents.
Marill Weakness
Marill's Water/Fairy typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, and Poison. It shrugs off Dragon-type attacks completely. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread.
