Black 2 & White 2 Evolution

Marill is the middle stage between Azurill and Azumarill. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, quick to hatch with a decent partner pool via two egg groups. Marill Guide

  • Get Marill to Azumarill at level 18. At 250 BST, Marill is just the starting point.

  • Level 18 gets you Azumarill. Quick enough that Marill barely slows you down.

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Marill does the job early-game if you need a water type on your team. Evolve it into Azumarill before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Marill in Black 2 & White 2. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 16 other games across the series.
