Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Bellossom's spread. It leans mixed with Sp. Def out front. And you'll get 3 Sp. Def EVs per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
When BELLOSSOM gets exposed to plenty of sunlight, the leaves ringing its body begin to spin around. This POKéMON’s dancing is renowned in the southern lands.
A BELLOSSOM grows flowers more beautifully if it has evolved from a smelly GLOOM - the stinkier the better. At night, this POKéMON closes its petals and goes to sleep.

Vileplume has 10 more total stats, but Bellossom makes up for it with a stronger Sp.Def gain (+35 from Oddish). View every chain in the Evolution Chart.

Bellossom Guide
In Ruby & Sapphire, Bellossom looks average on paper at 480 BST. But Chlorophyll is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Leech Seed with Leftovers is the standard set.
Bellossom gets Chlorophyll and Healer. But Chlorophyll is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Bellossom is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
For Ruby & Sapphire, the core moveset is Leech Seed, Giga Drain, Stun Spore, and Hiddenpowerice. Leech Seed leads at 24% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Gold & Silver, Bellossom has been in 18 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
