Stats & Training
Haxorus's all-in on Attack at the expense of Sp. Atk. The physical lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 3 Attack EVs and follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
They are kind but can be relentless when defending territory. They challenge foes with tusks that can cut steel.
Their sturdy tusks will stay sharp even if used to cut steel beams. These Pokémon are covered in hard armor.
Haxorus Weakness
Haxorus is weak to Ice, Dragon, and Fairy. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. With 76 HP and balanced defenses, Haxorus can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

How to Get Haxorus in X & Y
Can't catch Haxorus directly. Start with Axew at decent rates from the locations below, then evolve at level 48. The 3-stage chain from Axew to Haxorus is where the leveling time goes.
How to Obtain Haxorus in X & Y
The path to Haxorus starts with Axew at Lv. 7-15 via walking encounters. 1 catchable stage total, with locations listed for each one below.
Haxorus Guide
In X & Y, Don't let Haxorus's 540 base stat total fool you. Mold Breaker is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a wallbreaker. Earthquake with Lum Berry is the standard set.
In X & Y, Run Mold Breaker on Haxorus. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Haxorus also gets Rivalry and Unnerve, but they don't compare.
In X & Y, Haxorus fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 147 Attack. Base 97 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For X & Y, the core moveset is Earthquake, Outrage, Poisonjab, and Dragon Dance. Earthquake leads at 19% usage. Outrage provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Haxorus has appeared in 8 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
