Legends: Z-A Glimmet Best Moveset

The 50% bulk from Eviolite is no joke. Glimmet takes hits that fully evolved Pokemon can't, especially with spread EVs pushing the fast special side. Power Gem gives it offensive presence.

Moves

Glimmet develops a solid moveset just through leveling. Self-Destruct and Sludge Wave show up naturally, and the progression handles both STAB and utility without leaning on TMs for the core attacks.

How to Get Glimmet in Legends: Z-A

No wild encounters for Glimmet in Legends: Z-A. It's available in Scarlet and can be transferred over. The details below show where to find it.

Glimmet Guide

  • In Legends: Z-A, Glimmet isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Glimmora to unlock its full potential. At 350 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.

  • In Legends: Z-A, watch for Garchomp (Ground), Milotic (Water), and Reuniclus (Psychic) when using Glimmet. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Garchomp is the most dangerous since Ground moves deal 4x damage. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Toxic Debris scatters poison spikes at the feet of the opposing team when the Pokémon takes damage from physical moves. That's the one you want on Glimmet. Corrosion is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.

  • In Legends: Z-A, Glimmet fills the attacker role. It's leaning toward the special side (base 105 Sp. Atk). At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's fragile, can't afford to take many hits.

  • In Legends: Z-A, Glimmet does the job early-game if you need a Rock/Poison type on your team. Evolve it into Glimmora before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

Game Availability

Introduced in Scarlet & Violet, Glimmet has appeared in 2 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
