Cyclizar Guide

  • In Legends: Z-A, Regenerator changes the entire equation for Cyclizar. The 501 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked A-Tier as a pivot. Rapid Spin with Assault Vest is the standard set.

  • In Legends: Z-A, watch for Cloyster (Ice), Blaziken (Fighting), and Garchomp (Dragon) when using Cyclizar. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. Cyclizar's base 121 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.

  • Regenerator is what you want on Cyclizar. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Shed Skin) work on paper but Regenerator is what makes Cyclizar worth using.

  • Base 121 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Cyclizar is a mixed attacker with base 95 Attack and 85 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.

  • For Legends: Z-A, Cyclizar has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Ice, Fighting, and Dragon-type attackers hit hardest.
