It swings its handmade hammer around to protect itself, but the hammer is often stolen by Pokémon that eat metal.

Tinkatink Weakness

Fire and Ground moves hit Tinkatink for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison and Dragon-type moves can't touch it at all. 9 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that.

How to Get Tinkatink in Legends: Z-A

Tinkatink doesn't appear in Legends: Z-A. Transfer it from Scarlet to add it to your collection. Check the source games below for encounter details.

Tinkatink is not available as a wild encounter in this game.

Catch in the wild in:

Then trade to Legends: Z-A.

Tinkatink Guide

  • Tinkatuff at level 24 is the mid-stage. Push through to Tinkaton at level 38 for the final form. 297 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 24 gets you Tinkatuff. Not the fastest evolution, so consider Exp. Share or route grinding to speed it up.

  • In Legends: Z-A, Tinkatink does the job early-game if you need a Fairy/Steel type on your team. Evolve it into Tinkatuff before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Tinkatink in Legends: Z-A. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 1 other game across the series.

Game Availability

Introduced in Scarlet & Violet, Tinkatink has appeared in 2 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
