Stats & Training
Sp. Atk and HP carry most of Exeggutor's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk stat exp. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Living in a good environment makes it grow lots of heads. A head that drops off becomes an EXEGGCUTE.
Exeggutor Weakness
Exeggutor's Grass/Psychic typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Bug hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Bug |
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, Dark |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water, Electric, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
- Special stat split into Sp.Atk and Sp.Def
In Crystal, Golem's Explosion hits Exeggutor for 73-85%. Steelix's Explosion hits Exeggutor for 54-64%. Rhydon deals 35-42% with Rock Slide.

Exeggutor Guide
For Crystal, we rate Exeggutor A-Tier: a strong pick in Crystal's competitive scene. At 530 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Psychic with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Crystal, watch for Pinsir (Bug), Arcanine (Fire), and Lapras (Ice) when using Exeggutor. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Pinsir is the most dangerous since Bug moves deal 4x damage. Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Exeggutor is a special attacker with base 125 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
For Crystal, Exeggutor has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
In Crystal, run Psychic, Explosion, Giga Drain, and Hiddenpowerfire on Exeggutor. Psychic is the most common pick at 24% usage. Psychic provides reliable STAB damage.
