Stats & Training
Dugtrio's all-in on Speed at the expense of HP. The physical lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 2 Speed stat exp and follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
A team of triplets that can burrow over 60 MPH. Due to this, some people think it’s an earthquake.
Dugtrio Weakness
Dugtrio's Ground typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Grass, and Ice. It shrugs off Electric-type attacks completely. At base 120 Speed, Dugtrio outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Water, Grass, Ice |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Poison, Rock |
| 0x (Immune) | Electric |
- Only 15 types exist — Dark, Steel, and Fairy are absent
- Ghost has no effect on Psychic (a known bug, fixed in Gen II)
- Special stat governs both offense and defense — no Sp.Atk / Sp.Def split
