Stats & Training
Dewgong's spread favors balanced defenses over offense. Sp. Def leads the defensive side, Attack eats the cost. Yields 2 Sp. Def stat exp per defeat. Medium-fast 1M XP curve to level.
It sleeps under shallow ocean waters during the day, then looks for food at night when it’s cold.
Dewgong Weakness
Dewgong's Water/Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock. 4 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.
| Damage | Types |

Dewgong Guide
In Crystal, Dewgong has a 475 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Crystal's meta. It works best as a balanced. Toxic with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Crystal, Dewgong fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 70 Sp. Atk. Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Crystal, Dewgong has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric, Grass, and Fighting-type attackers hit hardest.
In Crystal, use Dewgong as a balanced. Special attacks are the main output. Speed is middling, Surf is the primary attack.
