Stats & Training
Dartrix's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Speed trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 HP EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
This narcissistic Pokémon is a clean freak. If you don’t groom it diligently, it will stop listening to you.
Supremely sensitive to the presence of others, it can detect opponents standing behind it, flinging its sharp feathers to take them out.
Dartrix Weakness
Dartrix's Grass/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice, Fire, Poison, Flying, and Rock. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Ground-type attacks completely.

Dartrix Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Dartrix isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Decidueye to unlock its full potential. At 420 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Weavile (Ice), Infernape (Fire), and Salazzle (Poison) when using Dartrix. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Weavile is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Flying and Rock-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Rowlet evolves into Dartrix at level 17. Dartrix can evolve into Decidueye and Hisuian Decidueye depending on the method. Dartrix is a middle-stage evolution in the Rowlet line.
Overgrow strengthens grass moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. That's the one you want on Dartrix. Long Reach is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Dartrix fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker with base 75 Attack and 70 Sp. Atk. At base 52 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Dartrix has appeared in 5 games across 4 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
