Stats & Training
Togekiss's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 5 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 3 Sp. Atk and Sp. Def EVs, on a fast 800K XP curve.
As everyone knows, it visits peaceful regions, bringing them gifts of kindness and sweet blessings.
It shares many blessings with people who respect one another’s rights and avoid needless strife.
Togekiss Weakness
Togekiss is weak to Electric, Ice, Poison, Rock, and Steel. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Dragon-type moves entirely. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Togekiss's overall bulk (85/95/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Ice, Poison, Rock, Steel |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Dark |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Fighting, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground, Dragon |
In X & Y, Volcanion's Sludge Bomb hits Togekiss for 35-41%.

X & Y Evolution
Togekiss doesn't evolve through normal leveling. You'll need an evolution item to get here from Togepi's line. Breed this form to get Togepi eggs (quick to hatch). Evolving from Togepi gave Togekiss the biggest boost in Sp.Atk (+80), bringing the total to 545 stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Togekiss to get Togepi eggs easily using 47 partners from the Fairy and Flying egg groups. Notable egg moves include Extrasensory, Foresight, Future Sight and 9 more.
X & Y Togekiss Best Moveset
For a defensive wall, Togekiss wants max HP and Sp. Def EVs and Leftovers. The Calm nature tilts toward special wall duty, and Serenegrace contributes without taking a move slot.

How to Get Togekiss in X & Y
No wild encounters for Togekiss in X & Y. Bring Togepi over from Gold, Crystal, or Legends: Arceus, then level through the stages. Each step in the chain is laid out below.
Togekiss Guide
In X & Y, Togekiss has a 545 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in X & Y for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Air Slash with Leftovers is the standard set.
Hustle is the go-to ability for Togekiss. It strengthens physical moves to inflict 1.5× damage, but decreases their accuracy to 0.8×. Its hidden ability Super Luck can work in specific setups. Serene Grace is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In X & Y, Togekiss fills the wallbreaker role. It's leaning toward the special side (base 120 Sp. Atk). Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
In X & Y, the best way to handle Togekiss: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
Game Availability
Togekiss has been available in 12 games since Diamond & Pearl, though obtaining it requires an item-based evolution. This extra step makes it less common than Pokemon found through standard wild encounters.
