Stats & Training
Bellossom's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Balanced defenses with Sp. Def doing the heavy lifting. And the 1.06M XP medium-slow curve means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 3 Sp. Def EVs.

Bellossom Guide
In Winds & Waves, Bellossom looks average on paper at 490 BST. But Chlorophyll is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. D-Tier on our tier list. Baton Pass with Leftovers is the standard set.
Bellossom gets Chlorophyll and Healer. But Chlorophyll is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Bellossom is a mixed attacker with base 80 Attack and 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
In Winds & Waves, the best way to handle Bellossom: Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Fire, Ice, and Poison-type attackers hit hardest.
Game Availability
Since Gold & Silver, Bellossom has been in 18 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
