Wugtrio Scarlet & Violet Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Raikou (Electric) and Breloom (Grass) when using Wugtrio. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Wugtrio's base 120 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
For Scarlet & Violet, it depends on your team. Wugtrio at 425 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Water coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
For Scarlet & Violet, we rate Wugtrio C-Tier: a niche pick in Scarlet & Violet's meta. At 425 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Tripledive with Choice Band is the standard set.
Gooey lowers attacking Pokémon's Speed by one stage on contact. That's the one you want on Wugtrio. Sand Veil is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Rattled works too if your team needs something different.
Base 120 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Wugtrio is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Fragile, can't afford to take many hits. Best used as a sweeper.
