The stat budget goes to damage. Sp. Atk and Speed carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Retainer Pokemon on a slow 1.25M XP grind, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs per KO.

For Scarlet & Violet, we rate Munkidori B-Tier: a solid option in Scarlet & Violet for the right team. At 555 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Psychic with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Toxic Chain may cause bad poisoning when the Pokémon hits an opponent with a move. That's the one you want on Munkidori. Frisk is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Base 106 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Munkidori is a mixed attacker with base 75 Attack and 130 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Scarlet & Violet, run Psychic, Trick, U Turn, and Focus Blast on Munkidori. Psychic is the most common pick at 0% usage. Psychic provides reliable STAB damage.
