Crawdaunt Weakness
Type-wise, Crawdaunt takes extra damage from Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Bug. Psychic moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Crawdaunt's physical bulk (base 85 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Ice, Ghost, Dark, Steel |
| 0x (Immune) | Psychic |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move

Crawdaunt Emerald Guide
In Emerald, Don't let Crawdaunt's 468 base stat total fool you. Adaptability is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a cannon. Brickbreak with Leftovers is the standard set.
Hyper Cutter is the go-to ability for Crawdaunt. It prevents Attack from being lowered by other Pokémon. Shell Armor is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Emerald, Crawdaunt fills the cannon role. It's a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Emerald, the core moveset is Brickbreak, Crabhammer, Knock Off, and Ice Beam. Brickbreak leads at 0% usage. Crabhammer provides reliable STAB damage.
