Base Stats
Arctibax freezes the air around it, protecting its face with an ice mask and turning its dorsal fin into a blade of ice.
It attacks with the blade of its frozen dorsal fin by doing a front flip in the air. Arctibax’s strong back and legs allow it to pull off this technique.
Arctibax Scarlet & Violet Guide
Arctibax is meant to evolve into Baxcalibur. At 423 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Thermal Exchange raises Attack when hit by a Fire-type move. That's the one you want on Arctibax. Ice Body is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
At base 62 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Arctibax is a mixed attacker with base 95 Attack and 45 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Scarlet & Violet, you can run Arctibax through the first few routes without issues. 423 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Baxcalibur as fast as you can.
Game Availability
Arctibax joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
