Applin Weakness
Applin is weak to Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon, and Fairy. Watch out for Ice attacks, those deal 4x damage. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Applin's physical bulk (base 80 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Base Stats
It grows by eating the flesh of an apple. Applin uses its own body fluid to strengthen the apple’s skin and prevent it from rotting.
Applin lives inside an apple. When an Applin is separated from its apple, its body loses moisture and the Pokémon grows weak.
Applin Scarlet & Violet Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Applin does the job early-game if you need a Grass/Dragon type on your team. Evolve it into Flapple before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Introduced in Sword & Shield, Applin has appeared in 2 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
