Wailord Guide
In Winds & Waves, Wailord has a 500 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Winds & Waves's meta. It works best as a balanced. Waterspout with Leftovers is the standard set.
Water Veil prevents burns. That's the one you want on Wailord. Pressure is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Oblivious works too if your team needs something different.
In Winds & Waves, Wailord fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker with base 90 Attack and 90 Sp. Atk. At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Winds & Waves, Wailord has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric and Grass-type attackers hit hardest.
