Stats & Training
Raw HP carries Throh's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Atk barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Judo Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It performs throwing moves with first-rate skill. Over the course of many battles, Throh’s belt grows darker as it absorbs its wearer’s sweat.
They train in groups of five. Any member that can’t keep up will discard its belt and leave the group.
Throh Weakness
Type-wise, Throh takes extra damage from Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Throh's overall bulk (120/85/85) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

How to Get Throh in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Throh doesn't appear in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Transfer it from Black, Black 2, or Shield to add it to your collection. Check the source games below for encounter details.
Throh Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Mold Breaker changes the entire equation for Throh. The 465 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a tank. Circlethrow with Leftovers is the standard set.
Mold Breaker is what you want on Throh. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Guts, Inner Focus) work on paper but Mold Breaker is what makes Throh worth using.
Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Throh is leaning toward the physical side (base 100 Attack). Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a tank.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Circlethrow, Bulk Up, Rest, and Sleep Talk. Circlethrow leads at 16% usage. This set covers the tank role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Throh joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 8 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
